About The Event

JULIET PAPADOPOULOS & FRIENDS

Sunday, November 17 at 4 pm

A Staten Island native, Juliet went to LaGuardia HS for voice and SUNY Purchase for opera (BM). She just graduated this May with my MM in Early Music Voice from the Yale School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music. She is moving back to NY this year to freelance.

In the fall of 2023, She was introduced to Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire and realized that she needed chamber music to be part of her career. She performed the piece twice at Yale and once at the Arnold Schoenberg Center in Vienna. She was also introduced to two stellar musicians through the project, Max Hammond, pianist, and Nikki Pet, clarinetist. Together with violinist/violist Colin Laursen, They have created a sort of “moving parts” chamber group. They prioritize musical excellence and storytelling. They are all Yale School of Music alumni— and Colin has his MM from Juilliard, Nikki is in the middle of a DMA at Yale, and Max is now starting an MM in piano at Juilliard.
