Position: P-T Church Administrator

# hrs/week: 15-20 hours / week

Pay Rate: $23-25/hour, depending on experience

Start Date: Flexible, by May 15.

Location: on-site with some remote hours possible

Duties: The Church Administrator is the first point of contact for the church and is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the church office including: preparing materials for all worship services; coordinates schedules for worship assistants, ushers and other volunteers; prepares correspondence, forms and reports as required/requested; responds to congregational records requests; maintains well-organized computer and hard-copy filing systems; orders office and church supplies; maintains an orderly office and storage area; files public reports with national church as required; maintains membership rolls and congregational records; cultivates relationships with existing and new members.

Requirements: 

+ excellent word processing and document production skills using Microsoft 365 Office Suite, some knowledge of graphic design helpful.

+ friendly, kind, and compassionate.

+ attention to detail to enhance the accuracy of documents.

+ well organized.

+ able to prioritize and work with interruptions.

+ able to engage with people of all ages and backgrounds.

+ relevant volunteer or work experience in a church context preferred.

+ background check required for all staff

 

Position: P-T Communications Coordinator

# hrs/week: 8 hours / week, year-round

Pay Rate: $25-28/hour, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Location: on-site or remote

Duties: The P-T Communications Coordinator coordinates and develops all needed PR materials to support church outreach and internal communications, in close collaboration with the pastor and other staff to unify and enhance messaging. Duties may include: designing and producing banners and signage seasonally; designing and managing social media content on church’s social media platforms; maintaining and regularly updating church website; designing and supporting other communications needs such as weekly email newsletters printed newsletters, event flyers etc.; coordinating the development of visual materials, reels, short movies etc. about Trinity and its ministries; maintaining communications and PR distributions lists.

Requirements: 

+excellent writing skills, especially for short-form content.

+excellent photography and visual design skills.

+experience as a social media content creator.

+experience developing and maintaining websites.

+experience with small-form video production

+excellent tech skills and experience with graphic design, web design, and video production software.

+ relevant volunteer or work experience in a church context preferred.

+ background check required for all staff

 

Position: P-T Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator

# hrs/week: 8 hours / week, 44 weeks/yr (some summer weeks off)

Pay Rate: $23-25/hour, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Location: on-site with some remote hours possible

Duties: The P-T Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator works with the pastor and volunteers to address the needs of children, youth and families Trinity engages, with the goal of growing the reach and impact of our youth and family ministry.  Duties include: building relationships with children, youth and families of Trinity; developing and implementing new youth and family activities; developing/acquiring Sunday School curriculum and other youth ministry materials as needed; recruiting and overseeing volunteer teachers for Sunday School; maintaining children’s areas in sanctuary, entrance and Sunday School room; supporting children’s messages/children’s play during 10:30am worship (Sept. through May); organizing and supporting outreach to area youth through events, community partnerships, and community presence.

Requirements: 

+ experience in children and youth ministry (volunteer or paid) in a Christian church context strongly preferred

+ friendly, with strong communication and relational skills

+ organized and able to work independently 

+ cross-cultural experience and multilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

+ background check required for all staff

 

Position: P-T Assistant to the Pastor for Outreach

# hrs/week: 6 hours / week, year-round

Pay Rate: $23-25/hour, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Location: some on-site, some remote hours possible

Duties: The P-T Assistant to the Pastor for Outreach works closely with the pastor to expand Trinity’s community outreach, impact, and congregational vitality.  Duties include: coordinating and supporting special community outreach efforts such as community event tabling, participation in community events, walks, volunteer efforts,  and Trinity’s Wagner College campus; expanding the church’s hosting/engagement for community meetings and events; supporting outreach and follow-up with elected official offices and community groups; supporting grant writing and external fundraising/donor cultivation.

Requirements: 

+ creative, out-of-the box thinker

+ excellent project management and implementation skills

+ experience with doing outreach/community partner engagement, church experience a plus

+ multi-lingual a plus
