Welcome
To Trinity church
Hello! We are so glad you have found your way to Trinity Lutheran Church on Staten Island.

We are a vibrant, diverse Christian community where you can experience God's love, learn, and live out your faith in Jesus Christ in service to others.

We love music and the arts too. Our worship has a rich blend of classical, modern, Gospel and global music played on organ and piano, and sung by choirs, soloists, and you and me.

Learning is important to us too. We offer study opportunities for all ages.
But we don't just teach about Jesus. We do Jesus. By living out the call to love God and our neighbor in service and advocacy on behalf of the most vulnerable in our community and in the world.

Join us for worship Sundays at 10:30am or try out one of our ministries.

And feel free to reach out with questions. Lutherans love questions.
Peace and blessings!

Introducing “TICT”
Be Part of the New: “Trinity Immigration and Citizenship Team”
Trinity--Staten Island is historically an “immigrant church,” established to welcome German-speaking newcomers to Staten Island in the 19th century. Since those early decades of German beer barons and brewery workers, our community has seen new waves of immigrants from around the globe, and many find their way to Trinity for worship, education, and service.
New immigrants have special needs for support so they can more effectively integrate into the social and economic fabric of our communities. Trinity is responding with a new ministry team, “Trinity Immigration and Citizenship Team,” that will be training and providing avenues of welcome and support for immigrants in our midst.
We will begin with a training organized by the Metro NY Synod and Global Refuge (formerly Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service) on being an immigrant-welcoming congregation. We will be assembling up-to-date resource lists to provide immigrants with linkages to services like medical and dental care, employment, and immigration legal services. We will be training to hold workshops and services to help immigrants prepare paperwork and applications for legal status.
We believe that the TICT ministry will be an important complement to the anti-hunger and anti-poverty work we already do through our feeding mission, Feeding with TLC, which serves a large number of immigrants.
Interested in joining TICT? All are welcome! Talk with any team member or let Pr. Stephanie (spjaeger@tlcsi.org) know and we will add you to the list to receive information and training. Current TICT team members include: Cara Kay, Alice Garcia, Stephen Jaeger, Marcia Lyles, Priscilla Marco, Kim Ryan, Roger Wesby, and Pr. Stephanie.
