NARCAN Training

Sat., 11/11, 2pm: Learn to save a life. Learn how to administer NARCAN in the event someone is experiencing an opioid overdose.  A trainer from CHASI, Community Health Action of Staten Island, will lead this training which will teach participants how to recognize overdose situations and how to correctly administer the opioid overdose-reversing treatment NARCAN.  Persons completing the training will receive a package of NARCAN to keep at the ready in case of an emergency.  Training highly recommended for Feeding with TLC volunteers, community leaders, pastors and church staff, as well as concerned individuals interested in taking steps to address the local opioid crisis.
